Complaints: Blaming videogames.... or media in general

Ok, This topic is near and dear to my heart because, i play video games way more than I should. But have you ever seen people blaim their childrens problems on games. Its ridiculous. Today I was at best buy and there was a kid... maybe 5-7yrs old, buying Doom3 for pc. this game is Uber violent and the mom was just blindly paying for it. When her kid shoots the cat she will probably sue the makers of Doom claiming they made her buy it. It has an M rating which means 17+ yrs old... unless that kid was a midget theres no way he was old enough. I read a quote from a woman claiming how bad video games are "I would rather my son do cocaine, at least he out doing something" Now this is just.... Im speechless..... seriously!.... WTF are you thinking... cocaine... I admit if your kid has mental problems maybe he shouldn't be playing viloent games or violent music or watching violent movies.... but that should be the parents responsibilty not the makers of the product. Its like those people suing McDonalds for making them fat... what did you expect... to eat a pile of greasy fries and lose 10 pounds... come on people. Ronald did not stand out side with a gun threatening to shoot you if you didn't order a #7.... supersized.... with a Diet Coke.... Why did you order Diet... GOSH no wonder people think americans are dumb... all i can do is... LOL. anywho.... go out and buy Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, kill some hooker, run over some cops and steal a car.

:)
